Anthony's career started in finance. He is a Chartered Management Accountant but, when an opportunity arose, he moved into general management roles and, before his career moved to coaching, he spent 25 years leading global teams in the technology sector. Through his academic learning and professional experience, he is in a valuable position to combine deep industry insight with coaching practice to build trust with and drive the performance of his clients.

Raised in Clare, Ireland, much of Anthony's career was spent in the UK with secondments to Silicon Valley and working with both companies and people across the globe. His career was achieved through hard work and an unyielding commitment to progress, sometimes looking for progress without knowing why other than that he should.

There was no fast track, no safety net, impact derived through performance became his greatest asset. But the desire to succeed comes with insecurity too; despite his success, he understands the noise and the interference we can all experience when we doubt “if we can?” and, ultimately, how this can impact performance.

Through his coaching work, he acknowledges the deep competencies, ideas and strengths his clients hold and that for high performing professionals it's natural for them to lose perspective. Continuously being asked to move the dial while in a cycle of “mindset overwhelm” often inhibits performance.

This is why as a performance coach, he works to reconnect clients with a renewed sense of perspective, clarity, resilience and curiosity through leadership development, business advisory and open trusted coaching.
